Protecting your privacy is important to First Community Bank. Our goal is to serve you and meet your financial needs in the most effective and convenient way possible and to ensure that information you share with us or we gather about you remains confidential.

First Community Bank does not sell customer information to any third-party marketer.

This Privacy Notice describes the types of information we collect, how we use the information and how we protect your confidential information.

What Does First Community Bank Do With Your Personal Information?
  • WHY? Financial institutions choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.
  • WHAT? The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us. This information can include: social security number and income; account balances and payment history; and credit history and credit scores.
  • HOW? All financial institutions need to share customers’ personal information to run their everyday business—to process transactions, maintain customer accounts and report to credit bureaus. In the section below, we list the reasons financial companies can share their customers’ personal information; the reasons First Community Bank chooses to share; and whether you can limit this sharing.

Reasons we can share your personal information

  • For our everyday business purposes—to process your transactions, maintain your account, and report to credit bureaus
  • For our marketing purposes—to offer our products and services to you
  • For joint marketing with other financial companies
  • For our affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information about your transactions and experiences
  • For our affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness
  • For our nonaffiliates to market to you (other than joint marketing)
Sharing Practices
How often does FCB notify me about their practices?
We must notify you about our sharing practices when you open an account and each year while you are a customer.
How does FCB protect my personal information?
We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
How does FCB collect my personal information?
We may collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources: information we receive from you on applications or other loan and account forms; information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others; and information we receive from third parties such as credit bureaus.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit sharing only for affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness and nonaffiliates to market to you. State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
